Dr. Mubashir H Shah

A neonatologist whose goal is “neurologically intact survival” of premature babies, Dr Shah is well versed with the management of common pediatric problems. He brings in an experience of eight years in pediatrics (medical care of infants, children, and adolescents) and neonatology (medical care of newborn infants, especially the ill or premature newborn). His areas of expertise include vaccination, growth and development as well as nutritional aspects of growing children. His primary focus in neonatology is compassionate care, non-invasive ventilation and alleviation of pain in small premature babies admitted in neonatal ICU.
An MBBS from Jammu University, Dr Shah is a DNB in Pediatrics and DNB in Neonatology from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He holds certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS); International Workshop on Advance Neonatal Ventilation; Advanced International Simulation Workshop for Neonatologists; Functional Neonatal Echocardiography; Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) in Neonates; and Sick newborn course – ON-TOP, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Moreover, he has undergone a three years training course in neonatology at KEM Hospital Pune, one among the only nine centers across the country recognized by National Board of Examinations, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi for advance training in neonatology. After completing postgraduation, Dr Shah worked at Apollo Hospital in Bangalore. He has also previously worked at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
