Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all general inquiries, explain procedures, and schedule new and follow-up appointments.
- Smoothly facilitate, in a non-disruptive manner, patients without appointments who require urgent consultation. This may require politely requesting patients with appointments to wait longer.
- Clearly explain requirements to new patients to ensure procedures are completed without delay.
- Proactively communicate with patients in the waiting area; keep them informed and assist them when required.
- Receive and make telephone calls as needed. Divert calls and take accurate messages, ensuring timely and appropriate delivery.
- Accurately capture and ensure complete data is updated in the system.
- Ensure accuracy of ultrasound, X-ray, Echo, HSG, and discharge summary reports.
- Ensure 100% report dispatch.
- Maintain required registers and data, including online PNDT applications.
- Maintain stock, reorder supplies, and monitor cost savings.
- Remain well-groomed as per standards; maintain discipline and decorum.
- Implement the Service Vision — ensure personalized care while delivering services.
- Engage effectively with clinicians and colleagues, building respect and rapport.
- Coordinate with support departments to ensure patient comfort and service standards are maintained.
