Dr. Soma Datta

Dr. Soma Datta completed MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from West Bengal University of Health Sciences after which she has gained more than 18 years of experience in various hospitals in Kolkata. Dr. Datta is adept in performing all kind of laparoscopic and gynaecological surgeries & procedures. Her area of expertise is Hystero-Laparoscopy, Fibroids, TLH & Ovarian Cyst. Dr. Datta has keen interest in active academic programmes and various scientific discussions. She was also attached as Assistant professor in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Murshidabad Medical College. She has worked as a clinical tutor in Medical College, Kolkata. Dr Datta is actively involved in CMEs. She is Joint Secretary of FOGSI 2026. She is currently Secretary Perinatology Committee of BOGS.
