Dr Bharath K has completed his MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, MD (Paediatrics) from Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute, Fellowship in Perinatal medicine (Neonatology) from MS Ramaiah Medical College after which he worked as Assistant Professor- Department of Paediatrics at Sri Devaraj Urs medical College, Kolar and Associate consultant – Motherhood Hospitals (HRBR Layout and Indiranagar).

Dr. Bharath K was further trained in Neonatology at Nepean Hospital, a tertiary care NICU, Sydney, Australia for 3 years during which he gained experience in taking care of extreme preterm babies (from 23 weeks gestation), babies requiring whole body cooling, sick neonates, performing functional Cardiac, cranial and Abdominal scans (Certification in Clinician Performed Ultrasound [CCPU]) and has also written amplitude EEG protocol for Term and Preterm babies.

Special interests:

Neonatal resuscitation, management of extreme preterm babies, PDA management and point of care ultrasound.
