Dr. Sujata Bhowal is an experienced Consultant Radiologist with 12 years of dedicated clinical practice across both public and private healthcare settings. With a strong foundation in diagnostic imaging and a commitment to clinical excellence, she brings a broad and nuanced skill set to the institution.
Dr. Bhowal holds expertise in routine ultrasound investigations, as well as complex diagnostic cases requiring advanced imaging interpretation. She has a special interest in obstetric, gynaecological, neonatal, and paediatric ultrasound - an area that demands not only technical precision but also sensitivity to the unique needs of these patients and their families during some of the most significant moments of their lives.
In obstetric imaging, she is proficient in first, second and third trimester scanning, including detailed anomaly surveys, fetal Doppler assessments, cervical length evaluation, and complex fetal pathology workup. Gynaecological expertise encompasses pelvic ultrasound, assessment of adnexal pathology, uterine anomalies, etc. In the neonatal and paediatric setting, I perform and report a wide range of scans, including cranial ultrasound in neonates, abdominal imaging, and developmental hip assessment.
Driven by a patient-centred approach and a dedication to accurate, timely reporting, I work closely with referring clinicians to ensure integrated and high-quality care for the best possible outcome for every patient.
