Overview
Dr. Preeti is an anesthesiologist with special interests in the field of pain medicine and its different aspects
ranging from basic pathophysiology to clinical management. She aspires to work in the field of Anesthesia
in improving the management of patients. In particular, her area of interests includes obstetric and
pediatric anesthesia with chronic pain management. She also wishes to become well versed in the
anesthetic management of patients for liver transplant.
She has experience in handling complex and routine paediatric, obstetric, general surgery, GI surgery,
urology cases. She has also experience in providing anaesthesia for separation of conjoint twins, liver
transplant and various trauma surgeries. She has also worked in ICU including COVID ICU. She is confident
in providing anaesthesia for neurosurgery cases, including head trauma cases. She is well versed in various
anaesthetic and critical care procedures. She has provided anaesthesia in peripheral areas including
endoscopy, radiological procedures and MECT cases.
Dr. Mohta is a certified lactation consultant commitment to supporting new mothers in starting a smooth
and early breastfeeding journey.
She is an anaesthetist by profession but her passion is in helping young mothers and their little ones. She
helps mothers with latch and positioning, low milk supply, nipple pain, mastitis, pumping, return-to-work
plans, and relactation. With medical expertise from India’s premier institute, AIIMS, Dr. Mohta combines
scientific knowledge and compassionate guidance to make breastfeeding comfortable and successful.
Services include home visits, clinic consultations, and online lactation support.
