Overview

I am a dedicated Pediatrician and Neonatologist with 16 years of medical experience, including 9 years of post-MD experience in Pediatrics and 3 years of superspecialty training in Neonatology. My professional journey spans both government and corporate healthcare settings, across teaching and non-teaching institutions.

I provide comprehensive pediatric care for children from birth through adolescence, with a focus on preventive healthcare, accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and holistic child development. My clinical expertise includes newborn care, high-risk infant follow-up, growth and developmental assessment, childhood nutrition, immunization, breastfeeding support, complementary feeding, sleep care, respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses, asthma, allergies, and childhood skin conditions.

As a Neonatologist, I have specialized expertise in managing both term and preterm newborns, including critically ill neonates. My skills include neonatal resuscitation and advanced airway management, umbilical and PICC line insertion, conventional and high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, therapeutic hypothermia for hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), amplitude-integrated EEG monitoring, neonatal point-of-care ultrasound, and exchange transfusion for severe neonatal jaundice. I also focus on neonatal nutrition, neurodevelopmental follow-up of high-risk infants, and quality improvement initiatives in newborn care.

I strongly believe that compassionate communication and parental education are integral to quality healthcare. I strive to empower parents with evidence-based guidance, address their concerns, and reduce anxiety while helping them make informed decisions about their child's health.

My academic interests include neonatal point-of-care ultrasound, particularly bowel, liver, and line assessment; child nutrition; parental awareness programs; neonatal nursing education; and training junior doctors, paramedics, and nursing professionals in essential newborn care.

I have authored five research publications and participated in a research study. My academic contributions include serving as invited faculty at national Pediatrics and Neonatology conferences, leading workshops on neonatal neurocritical care, and participating as a panelist at a perinatology conference. I received the Best Scientific Paper Award at Odisha State PEDICON in 2015 and secured second prize in a Community Medicine quiz competition during my MBBS studies.

Having completed DM in Neonatology at MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery, Kerala, I further strengthened my clinical experience through training at Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad, and an observership at St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru.

My mission is to provide evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centered care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for newborns and children while supporting parents throughout their healthcare journey.
