Dr. Shaily Patel Joshi

Dr. Shaily Patel is a highly skilled Pediatric Intensivist and Pediatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. She combines advanced clinical expertise with a compassionate, family-centered approach to ensure every child receives personalized care in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Dr. Patel completed her MBBS from Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar, followed by an MD in Pediatrics from Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior. She further specialized in pediatric critical care by completing a Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care (FPIC) at the prestigious Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai, where she received advanced training in managing critically ill children and pediatric emergencies.

Currently serving as a Consultant – Pediatric Intensivist & Pediatrician at Motherhood Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Circle, Dr. Patel has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of pediatric and neonatal conditions. Her key areas of expertise include pediatric intensive care, neonatal care, pediatric emergencies, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, trauma, poisoning, and the management of critically ill children requiring mechanical ventilation.

Her advanced clinical skills include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Point-of-Care Ultrasonography (POCUS), ultrasound-guided central venous catheter insertion, and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) line placement. Prior to her fellowship, she served as a Senior Resident in Pediatrics and Neonatology at Gajra Raja Medical College and Apollo Children Hospital, Gwalior, where she gained valuable experience managing both routine and complex pediatric and neonatal cases.

An active academician, Dr. Patel has contributed to pediatric research through publications in the Journal of Neonatology. She has received recognition for her research on breastfeeding techniques and neonatal outcomes and regularly participates in national conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) programs organized by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and other leading medical organizations to stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine.
