Dr. Bhawna Malik is a distinguished Pediatric Critical Care Specialist, Pediatrician and Neonatologist with extensive expertise in the care of critically ill newborns and children. She is highly regarded for her clinical precision, evidence-based practice, and deeply compassionate approach, delivering care that meets the highest international standards.   She completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, in 2008, followed by an MD in Pediatrics in 2012. Driven by a passion for advanced pediatric and neonatal care, she pursued subspecialty training, completing the IAP Fellowship in Neonatology from prestigious Government Medical College, Chandigarh, in 2013, and subsequently the IAP–ISCCM Fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care in 2015.   Dr. Malik’s career spans leading centers of excellence in India and the United Kingdom, including Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (Ludhiana), Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalay (New Delhi), Medanta- the Medicity (Gurugram) and two of the world’s most celebrated pediatric institutions—Great Ormond Street Hospital and King’s College Hospital, London. These internationally acclaimed tertiary centers are at the forefront of pediatric medicine, offering highly specialized care for complex and rare childhood conditions, including advanced organ support, liver failure, transplant-related critical care, and multi-organ dysfunction.   She brings vast experience in the management of the most critically ill neonates and children, including those requiring advanced ventilation strategies, multi-organ support and liver, kidney and bone marrow transplantation. Throughout her career, Dr. Malik has successfully led the care of numerous high-risk and complex cases, earning the trust of families and the respect of peers.   With over two decades of experience in Pediatrics, Pediatric critical Care, and Neonatology, Dr. Bhawna Malik remains deeply committed to ethical, evidence-driven, and comprehensive patient care, consistently striving for excellence in clinical outcomes.   In addition to her clinical work, she has received formal training in research methodology and medical education from the University of Liverpool, UK, and has authored multiple research publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. She is also a National Trainer for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and plays an active role in training and mentoring healthcare professionals in pediatric emergency and critical care.
