Dr. Deepa Rao

Dr. Deepa Rao is a renowned family physician who believes in the holistic care of her patients with expertise in geriatric care  & medical problems in pregnancy. Her special interests include the management of chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, etc; old age-related problems; preventive health with lifestyle modification, and patient education.

After obtaining her MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Bellary(VIMS) Dr. Deepa Rao went on to specialize in Family medicine at The Bangalore Hospital, Bangalore, and was awarded a Diplomate in the national board, NBE, New Delhi. Dr. Deepa Rao further completed her certificate course in Integrated Geriatric care(CCIGC) by PHFI and is a Trained Diabetic educator.

Dr. Deepa Rao is actively involved in academic and research activities and is a member of the Association of Family Physicians of India(AFPI) and constantly strives to keep herself updated on recent developments in primary care.
