Dr. Harshini is a highly skilled and compassionate pediatric intensivist with 10+ years of experience in pediatrics and 5+ years in managing critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in high-acuity pediatric intensive care units.
Dr. Harshini has completed her MBBS from RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, MD from Sri Siddhartha Medical College and Hospital and research centre. She has obtained IDPCCM fellowship in PICU from Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital (Chennai). She has worked in the pediatric intensive care unit at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore.
Experience:
Dr. Harshini is proficient in pediatric advanced life support, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and multi-disciplinary care co-ordination in the pediatric intensive care unit. She is well trained in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), ultrasound guided invasive catheter insertions as well as peripheral line insertions. She emphasizes nutrition and early rehabilitation in critically ill children. She has experience in pediatric retrieval and transport services. She has previous experience in managing children on renal replacement therapy, plasma exchange, and pediatric ECMO.
She has participated as faculty in various national level conferences and as a speaker faculty in workshops. She has a keen interest in the field of pediatric nursing critical care training.
