Dr. Prathap Chandra has been awarded a CCT in Paediatric and Neonatal Medicine in 2010 and FRCPCH in 2014. He worked as a Neonatal Consultant at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire for 3 years before returning to India. Dr. Prathap Chandra also has extensive experience and takes a special interest in looking after babies born extremely preterm, birth asphyxia, neonatal sepsis, babies with congenital heart diseases, and surgical malformations. Dr. Prathap Chandra is well at providing Therapeutic Hyperthermia (Total Body Cooling) for babies born with moderate to severe Hypoxic Ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE). His expertise also includes Neonatal Transport, fetal medicine counseling, training, simulation, and research.
Dr. Prathap Chandra has embarked upon a campaign to create awareness and prevention of child abuse in India. He has also done a graduate training program in Nutrition in 2016 affiliated with Boston University.
