Shweta Hegde is a highly skilled Clinical Embryologist with over 10 years of experience in assisted reproductive technology (ART). Shweta Hegde specializes in IVF, ICSI, embryo biopsy, and advanced genetic testing techniques, with strong expertise in both clinical practice and research. Her work is driven by precision, quality, and a patient-centric approach, ensuring optimal outcomes in fertility treatments.

Shweta Hegde holds an MSc (Medical) in Clinical Embryology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. She has completed her internship in reproductive medicine and andrology at NOVA IVF, SDM Medical College, Dharwad, and Munster University, Germany.

Currently, Shweta Hegde is working as a Senior Consultant Embryologist at Motherhood Hospital, Sarjapur. She has previously worked as a Senior Consultant Embryologist at Cloudnine Hospitals and as Chief Embryologist at Indira IVF, Pune & Kolhapur, where she managed over 100 ICSI and embryo transfer cycles per month and performed more than 200 embryo biopsy procedures.

Shweta Hegde has also worked as a Consultant Embryologist at Manipal Fertility, Mangalore & SDM Dharwad, gaining extensive experience in ICSI, embryo transfer, and cryopreservation. Additionally, she served as a Lecturer & Embryologist at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, where she trained over 300 students in embryology across certificate and MSc programs.

Shweta Hegde has contributed as a Subject Matter Expert Embryologist at SpOvum Technologies, Bangalore, where she was involved in medical device development and conducted research experiments in ART.

Shweta Hegde's clinical expertise includes In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Embryo Biopsy, Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR), cryopreservation of oocytes (eggs), sperm, embryos, testicular tissue, and ovarian tissue, as well as embryo culture and transfer techniques and clinical research in reproductive medicine.

Shweta Hegde is actively involved in multiple research projects and has publications and awards in the field of clinical embryology, with a strong interest in quality management and laboratory optimization.
