Level III NICU at Motherhood Hospitals

A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a specialised area of the hospital where newborns who need extra medical attention are closely monitored and cared for after birth. Our Level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by neonatologists, paediatricians, paediatric surgeons, respiratory therapists, and specially trained NICU nurses.

  • Intensive care for premature babies, low birth weight babies, and newborns who need close monitoring
  • Respiratory support, including ventilators and CPAP
  • Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) for stabilised babies who still need monitoring and feeding support before discharge
