The Final Stretch of Pregnancy
Third trimester pregnancy, running from around week twenty seven until birth, is when your body shifts into active preparation for labour. Third trimester symptoms often include back pain, swelling, and increasingly frequent Braxton Hicks contractions, alongside the sheer physical reality of carrying additional weight in these final weeks. Braxton Hicks contractions are your body’s way of practising for labour, and while they can feel alarming the first time, they typically ease with rest and hydration.
