5. Placenta Previa
It is a condition where the placenta entirely or partially blocks the baby’s way to the cervix. This happens when the placenta lies low. This issue generally evolves as the due date approaches You might need to have a caesarean delivery in this case.
6. Major Infections
Certain severe infections like the sexually transmitted infections (Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea), TB, HIV, or hepatitis causes a major threat for you and the baby. Therefore, it is important to take screening and treatment for these infections and vaccinations seriously when you are carrying a child.
7. Minor Infections
Diseases such as thrush or bacterial vaginosis or flu is not serious but should be controlled at the earliest.
8. Molar Pregnancy
Usually, the fertilised egg or the embryo implants itself in the uterine wall and starts developing but in a few cases, the foetus does not develop properly. Instead, a clump of abnormal cells can be seen growing there though an ultrasound. This can give a positive pregnancy test and sometimes result in slight bleeding.
9. Vaginal Irritation
Every mother-to-be is going through enormous bodily changes. These changes can be seen through a large quantity of vaginal discharge which can cause irritation to the vagina. Please avoid using care products without consulting your healthcare specialist because certain products can also irritate the vagina.
